      St. Louis County Library

      The Administration Department is seeking a full-time Development Assistant to provide administrative support to the Assistant Director, Advancement and the Advancement Team. This position manages the donor database, ensuring donor records are entered and and updated properly.
      The mission of the St. Louis County Library is to provide the resources and services to enrich individual minds, enhance lives and expand perspectives. SLCL is an award winning library system with branches throughout St. Louis County. We have transformed into a meaningful community resource with updated facilities and an array of programs and partnerships that serve over 860,000 patrons.
      Salary: $39,758.00
      Hours:
      40 hours per week, evenings and weekends required
      Essential Responsibilities:
      1. Manages all aspects of the donor database.
      2. Assists with all Board and administrative duties.
      3. Identifies and maintains Prospect Management process.
      4. Maintains financial data for the Foundation.
      5. Other duties as assigned.
      Job Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree
      • Must possess a commitment to a high level of public service
      • Must possess excellent communication, organization skills, and attention to detail
      • Experience with donor database platforms preferred

      • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

      • Ability to manage several projects at one time, shifting priorities as necessary
      • Must possess good judgment, analytical and problem solving skills
      • Ability to operate various types of Library equipment
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and e-mail
