What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop a year-round fundraising plan and budget to meet revenue goals
- Hire, train, and supervise community fundraising staff
- Meet monthly fundraising goals for various events and maintain budget
- Execute fundraising plans for signature events and other revenue-generating activities
- Secure and manage high-dollar corporate partnerships and maintain relationships with key constituents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned market area
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 5-7 years of experience in fundraising and team management
- Proven success in closing on $1M in revenue through corporate sponsorships, peer-to-peer fundraising, and major gifts
- Strong executive volunteer recruitment and management skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the community and local non-profit space
- Experience in face-to-face fundraising and sponsorships
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed
