      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research corporations and foundations, identify opportunities for corporate sponsorships
      - Write foundation grants and increase amounts funded year-over-year
      - Maintain professional and friendly relationships with foundation grantors
      - Obtain contacts for potential donors, make telephone or in-person contact, and introduce donors to the President and CEO
      - Meet with each Board member to determine individual giving, additional fundraising activities, and ways to advocate for the organization

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree required
      - At least three years of fundraising experience in a nonprofit environment
      - Able to articulate strategies for soliciting and cultivating gifts, sponsorships, and grant writing
      - Familiarity with CRM management
      - Proven ability to speak and write persuasively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with EveryAction or similar databases
      - Demonstrated knowledge of sound fundraising principles
      - Strong communication skills
      - Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
      - Mature, patient, and persuasive demeanor
