      Role Overview

      The Development Manager, Retail Store Planning will play a key role in overseeing and enhancing the Maison’s real estate portfolio, contributing to the strategic vision and expansion of its boutique network. You will closely collaborate with teams across Store Planning, Real Estate, Retail Performance, and Finance to optimize the network’s physical footprint and identify new business opportunities that align with the Maison’s growth objectives. Reporting to the AVP of Store Planning, the Real Estate Network Development Manager will be based in New York and will also support the coordination of strategic projects aimed at advancing the Maison’s market presence and operational excellence.

      Responsibilities

      • Assess and analyze boutique projects within their market environment by reviewing competition, profitability, and real estate developments.

      • Gather market intelligence to provide leadership with insights and recommendations, confirming marketing potential.

      • Evaluate suitability of new locations, compile documentation for project briefs, and liase with real estate, legal, and landlord teams to define terms, deliverables, and milestones.

      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather project information, planning documents, and forecasts, and coordinate with local architects for site surveys and documentation of existing conditions.

      • Support building investment requests for HQ approval and contribute to market analysis by summarizing business trends, forecasting sales, and identifying resource needs, including headcount, construction CapEx trends, timelines, and optimization opportunities.

      • Create management presentations to address strategic objectives, present findings and data, and make recommendations for boutique network development.

      • Maintain accurate tracking of retail lease information, construction timelines and budgets, and the status of approval processes.

      • Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate project feasibility and organize the project pipeline.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
      • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting, financial analysis, or project management, preferably within the luxury sector.
      • Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and create high-quality presentations and materials.
      • Excellent project management skills to effectively support Finance, Store Planning, Sales Performance teams.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask projects effectively.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Willingness and ability to travel for location scouting and site surveys.

      Expected Salary Range- $115k-$120k

      This role is annual bonus eligible.
