- Act as primary administrator of OCMA’s Raiser’s Edge donor database, ensuring accuracy of constituent and gift information
- Process all Major Gifts to OMCA, including but not limited to, the Donor Forum program, Trustee support, and contributions from OMCA Corporate and Foundation partners. Engage in regular reconciliation of these contributions in partnership with OCMA’s Finance Team.
- Work with OMCA fundraisers and Associate Director, Development Operations to identify criteria and outputs, and build and run queries and exports for use in direct mail acquisition campaigns, event invitation lists, annual fund appeals, and more. Use data analytic tools to clean and distribute data to outside vendors as needed.
- Support the creation and implementation of Raiser’s Edge best practices, SOPs, onboarding materials, and other training documents.
- Act as secondary processor of Membership & Annual Fund gifts as needed
- Support the Membership and Annual Fund Associate in Membership record management
- Perform regular and ad hoc data health maintenance screens
- Work with OMCA’s IT team to maintain and update regular SQL reports, including the Contributed Income Report and other interactive dashboards
- Use complex problem solving skills to develop and evaluate solutions pertaining to Raiser’s Edge needs and integrated software
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
- Actively participate in the organizational wide initiative to identify and onboard a new CRM
- 2-4 years of related experience required
- Knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to fundraising best practices preferred
- English language proficiency in both spoken and written form
- Intermediate experience with relational donor database, preferably Raiser’s Edge, required
- introductory experience with SQL a plus
- Museum environment involves both indoor and outdoor working conditions
- Ability to travel between OMCA locations, and other travel as required by position responsibilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends to support Member, Donor, and Museum-wide events
Overview
Start date for this role will be July 12, 2024.
The Development Operations Specialist is responsible for the administrative application of the Raiser’s Edge database to support the fundraising activities of OMCA. Working across the Development team, this position manages the database to ensure data integrity, supports the integration of other organizational software and systems and produces regular and ad hoc fundraising reports and queries. This position also supports cross-departmental administrative activities as necessary, including donor events and OMCA’ s annual fundraiser.

COMPENSATION: $36.38 - $36.38 hourly
