      We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Five Wells, a category C Prison located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

      In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.

      Hours

      Mon - Fri: 08:00 - 16:00 Potential weekend shifts Salary

      This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum - depending on experience.

      Main duties of the job

      As a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will

      • Need expert clinical skills and demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems. You will provide clinical leadership for the mental health team.
      • This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners.
      • You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times. Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
      • As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

      • Registered professional with current registration (NMC, HCPC)
      • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
      • Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent
      • Recognised prescribing qualification
      • Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
