- Lead the architectural design and strategic planning for the DevSecOps domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
- Define and enforce best practices for secure software development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to support the DevSecOps strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams.
- Communicate architectural decisions and roadmaps to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve Comerica’s DevSecOps capabilities.
- Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab, focusing on automation, traceability, and developer experience.
- Design end-to-end solutions in partnership with application teams to adopt pipelines.
- Ensure seamless integration between enterprise systems and the Gitlab platform.
- Ensure policy as code is considered in the pipeline design that is focused on Banking and Financial Services regulatory requirements.
- Design architectures with robust data security and privacy measures.
- Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices for DevSecOps.
- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure consistency with enterprise goals.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams.

Comerica Bank is seeking an experienced Domain Architect to lead the evolution of our DevSecOps capabilities. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our CI/CD platform as we transition from Jenkins to a leading edge GitLab solution, modernizing our development workflows and enhancing automation, scalability, and security. As a Domain Architect, you will be the end-to-end subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, design patterns, and tools within the DevSecOps domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and heavily engage with application teams to define and implement a strategic roadmap to adopt the new CI/CD solution.Position Responsibilities:
