      Join the Technology Architecture team! As a DevOps Architect, you will be an integral part in ensuring that the DevOps framework aligns with the organization's goals and business objectives and that it promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will be responsible for designing and supporting continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelines, providing leadership and education on DevOps processes and tools to application, infrastructure, and operational teams.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Responsible for designing, developing, writing, and implementing software solutions for our continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
      • Define and govern DevOps processes, quality guidelines, and standards.
      • Lead efforts in collaborating and educating delivery teams on building CI/CD pipelines using best practices.
      • Lead efforts in defining and developing practices for automated testing including unit, integration, functional and end-to-end.
      • Work closely with delivery, infrastructure, and operational teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.
      • Own the creation and governing of continuous integration automation with platforms like Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, Gitlab CI
      • Collaborate closely with solution architects to promote DevOps practices.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience,
      • 8+ years of development experience
      • 5+ years working with source control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
      • 5+ years of experience working with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and/or Gitlab.
      • 2+ years of systems engineering expertise, with knowledge of hardware, networking, software, applications, cloud, and systems engineering.
      • 2+ years of supporting DevOps practices
      • 2+ years of public cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
      • Hands-on experience with provision tools such as Terraform.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience designing, implementing, and documenting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
      • Strong Automation skills and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes.
      • Experience with containers and container orchestration such as Kubernetes
      • Experience with Octopus Deploy
      • Experience developing cloud-based applications that run in Microsoft Azure
      • Experience with Platform Engineering and/or Internal Developer Platform
      • Linux administration and scripting skills
      • Experience performing automated/load tests.
      • Experience developing metrics to measure improvements using DevOps practices

      Potential Annual Pay with Bonus

      132,535 - 198,770

      Year End Bonus

      As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
