As part of its digital strategy, Desjardins is transforming the development services our department offers to squads to include a platform as a service (PaaS) with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) technology, a container as a service (CaaS) platform with Kubernetes (AKS/PKS) technology, tools and a continuous delivery practice (GitHub/Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, Concourse/Jenkins, etc.), acceptance tests and templates, and a campus for training and supporting the squads.

The Development and Operations of Cloud Foundations and Continuous Delivery Department is seeking to build its team to meet the growing demand for its services. General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

• Maintain the continuous delivery platform of Desjardins’s cloud computing environments

• Prepare, document and implement the platform’s infrastructure and tools

• Help develop and update the platform

• Support and assist the development squads in implementing their application delivery solution

• Investigate and solve production incidents.

Other working conditions

• Schedule: The incumbent may be required to provide computer support outside working hours from time to time

• Workplace: Position located in Montreal or Levis, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• A minimum of six years of relevant experience

• Experience in implementing solutions in a production environment

• Experience in Agile mode (an asset)

• For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.

Specific knowledge

• Very good knowledge of Shell BASH scripting

• Knowledge of the architecture of continuous delivery platforms and products: GitHub, Artifactory and SonarQube

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker

• Knowledge of Azure cloud platform

• Knowledge of DevOps concepts (CI/CD)

• Knowledge of a Docker-based CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Concourse)

• Knowledge of a cloud platform (Azure and/or AWS)

• Knowledge of Python

• Knowledge of the "Infrastructure as Code" concept with tools such as Terraform

• Knowledge of the Ansible configuration management tool

• Knowledge of Linux, Ubuntu and Red Hat

• Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps and HashiCorp Vault (an asset)
