      Job Description

      As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will develop and implement advanced security measures to protect against potential threats.

      • Support the development and implementation of cloud security automation solutions, ensuring robust protection for cloud-based systems.
      • Design and build automation scripts and tools to enhance security measures in cloud environments.
      • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to integrate cloud security solutions seamlessly.
      • Provide support in scripting and automation to streamline cloud security processes and improve efficiency.
      • Innovate and improve existing frameworks and methodologies related to cloud security automation.
      • Enhance the security posture of cloud-hosted systems through automated solutions and proactive measures.
      • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in cloud security and automation technologies.

      This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

      Qualifications

      Qualifications:

      • 3+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
      • Extensive experience with AWS security services and best practices.
      • Strong expertise in Kubernetes security, specifically Amazon EKS.
      • Relevant AWS and Kubernetes certifications such as AWS Certified Solution Architect, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
      • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
      • Familiarity with advanced security tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, SumoLogic
      • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and implementation
      • M&A Activities: Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities is considered a plus.
