      Job Description


      We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our customer IT team. In your role as hands-on DevOps engineer you will provide guidance on the build of solutions to enhance availability, performance and stability of the IT systems within Customer IT. As Senior DevOps engineer you need to balance service reliability, platform development and delivery speed. You will work with the Operations and development team in building software delivery pipelines, deploy and monitor services, respond to alerts & notifications and learn from incidents. In this team you have end-to-end responsibility across the IT system landscape combining software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops) in order to streamline the software development and deployment process. This role aims to enhance collaboration between software developers and IT professionals to deliver high-quality software products more efficiently.

      Your main tasks and responsibilities:

      • A Guide to the team when it comes to managing the applications as a Technical Service lead, defining frameworks and co-create the IT system roadmap/architecture
      • Automation: A DevOps engineer is also focused on automating various aspects of software development, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning. This includes automating testing, code deployment and server configuration
      • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

        DevOps engineers implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure that code changes are tested and deployed quickly and reliably
      • Monitoring and Logging: The DevOps engineer sets up monitoring and logging systems to keep an eye on the health and performance of applications and infrastructure
      • Collaboration: You foster collaboration between development and operations teams, breaking down silos and improving communication.

      Qualifications


      • Bachelor degree in IT or equal qualification
      • Experience in software development and coding (in scripting languages like Python, Shell, Ruby, or Java)
      • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

      - Knowledge of the Siebel/Oracle system and Vertex application is preferred.

      - Proficiency with automation and scripting.

      - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.

      - Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.

      - Experience with IaC and configuration management

      • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services
      • Experience in Agile way of working
      • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
      • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and written.

      We need a DevOps Engineer within the Customer IT team, someone with good technical understanding, skilled in development, who will take a leading role within the Operations team both in development as in operations, is customer minded and will work on the various applications. Someone who can grow with us and helps in optimizing and change our system landscape in the coming years.
