What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deploy and manage the sequencing data analysis pipeline for the employer
- Implement Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) practices
- Assist development teams with versioning and archiving of software artifacts
- Research and support new configuration management systems
- Anticipate and address issues that may impact infrastructure or customer base
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Experience managing complex infrastructure projects
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-developers
- Experience with tools like GIT, Splunk, SaltStack, and Ansible
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting and system administration for Windows and Linux
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working collaboratively within diverse teams
- Familiarity with cloud platform security best practices
- Previous experience with automation of manual activities in a DevOps environment
