  About the Role

  We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on security and compliance to play a critical role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our product and IT infrastructure. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the Sprig product.

  This role is based in office in New York City or San Francisco with flexibility to work remote 2-3 days per week.

  Your Impact

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment and configuration management solutions to ensure the efficiency and security of our product.
  • Conduct regular product security assessments and work on remediation plans to address vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customers’ questions and issues on product security and compliance to help increase velocity in Sales and Customer Support cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to security.
  • Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of our product and data.
  • Provide IT support across the whole organization.

  Your Strengths

  • 2-3+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloudformation) in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) is a plus.
  • Startup experience is highly preferred.

  Employee Pay Disclosure

  The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000 + Equity + Benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations (San Francisco, CA; New York, NY). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
