What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical guidance for automation projects and mentor team members in industry best practices
- Develop, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Compliance as Code in cloud environments
- Implement self-service tooling for operations teams to enhance operational effectiveness
- Contribute to initiatives for self-diagnosing and healing of infrastructure and services
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of solutions for implementation and presentations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current Top Secret clearance
- Certifications: Current Security+ and Linux (e.g., Linux+, RHSCA) or obtain within three months of start
- Expert knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn, C) and Python
- Experience with scripted automation of AWS Cloud tasks using Boto3, AWS CLI, or similar tools
- Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud, preferably AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect Associate
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with high availability configurations using Pacemaker or similar tools
- Familiarity with DISA STIG compliance tools
- Experience with implementation of security controls against industry-recognized frameworks like NIST 800-53
- Proficiency in using Git and Git workflows
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of technical solutions
