Handle improvement of reliability and resiliency of managed services and infrastructure
Partner with development teams to improve services and best practices into the SDLC
Mentor and develop junior engineers, growing their knowledge, skill set and capability
Use the latest industry standard tools and best practices to meet the evolving needs of our internal engineers, developers and external customers
Manage Cloud provider infrastructure, system deployments & product release operations
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance the efficiency of our infrastructure.
Participate in system design consulting, platform management and capacity planning
Develop and maintain documentation on system architecture, operations, and troubleshooting procedures
Participate in an on-call rotation, using a follow-the-sun model
A strong combination of technical experience, hands-on capability, technical leadership experience
Significant (5+ years) design & implementation experience in multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Deep understanding of DevOps and SRE Best Practices
Proven experience in designing and operating cloud architectures, with expertise in Kubernetes, Karpenter, and Istio.
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, networking, and security in cloud environments.
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm
Expertise with modern CI/CD systems such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions
Experience in using, monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with microservices architectures and debugging/investigation techniques.
Scripting knowledge – proficiency with Python, Bash, PowerShell, JS or similar languages
Adept in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience collaborating with Data Engineers and Scientists building ML & ETL pipelines

Skills and Qualifications
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $86,105 to $128,150
and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.Samsung is an equal employment opportunity employer.
