      $110,000 - $125,000 + / year

      (salary based on experience)

      This position is not eligible for relocation, it is hybrid and works in the office 1 or 2 days a week. Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

      BASIC FUNCTION

      This position is for a DevOps engineer, who ensures that the systems and processes used to develop, test, and release software are fast, reliable, and scalable. Main responsibilities include new product support, automating workflows, monitoring system performance, managing cloud infrastructure, and making sure that new updates or features can be delivered quickly and safely. This position is not eligible for relocation, it is hybrid and works in the office 1 or 2 days a week. Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Work with customers technical staff to integrate and setup Smart Locke software for customer environments
      • Work with Smarte Carte field technicians to troubleshoot/configure locker integration
      • Automate as much of the setup and configuration of the Smart Locke platform (Netsuite integration, site setup/asset tracking, etc)
      • Coordinate release planning at customer sites with site and Smarte Carte technicians
      • Troubleshoot setup issues with credit card readers and software platform
      • Availability for customer assistance outside normal working hours as required
      • Other duties as assigned.

      EXPERIENCE

      • Minimum of 5 years of DevOps experience
        • Strong network fundamentals (firewalls, IP routing, switches, DNS, VPN, etc)
        • Linux command line proficiency
        • Basic shell scripting ability
        • Terraform exposure
        • Gitlab exposure
        • AWS exposure: S3/IAM/EC2
        • Hyper-V or VMWare virtualization basic knowledge
        • Docker exposure
        • Postgres or similar exposure
        • Strong understanding of agile methodologies
        • Experience working with various operating systems (Linux, OS, Android, Windows)

      EDUCATION

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent professional experience in DevOps or software engineering
