Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry! This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.

Details of the program:

• The program is only open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program, or who are enrolled in a Graduate School program.
• The paid Internship is for a full year, June 2024 to May 2025, and the successful intern must be able and willing to commit to the full length of the program.
• Intern is asked to work for 25-29 hours per week during business hours in the Detroit, MI office (Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, and the intern’s actual daily schedule will work around their class schedule).
• Hourly Rate: $18/hour

What you will be doing:

• Semiconductor Applications - Evaluating industry roadmap for semiconductors, select and source semiconductors.
• Semiconductor Performance Evaluation - Generating application workloads, extract semiconductor performance metrics, compare IPs with industry standard benchmarks.
• Semiconductor Design - Evaluating semiconductor manufacturing process and advanced design techniques (chiplets).

What you will need:

• Enrolled in a college/university program
• Understanding of semiconductor basics
• Understanding of computer architecture and memory hierarchy
• Python Programming
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
• Strong financial/numerical acumen
• Familiarity with SAP is an asset
• High level of professionalism and tact; able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Confidence to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with well-developed communication skills
