- Deliver insights to drive quality outcomes cost-effectively
- Improve efficiency for themselves, their providers, and their members through high-speed clinical data exchange
- Impact point-of-care decision making positively by integrating payer guidance and prior authorization management directly in each healthcare provider’s existing workflow
- Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, repos and Build/Release pipelines.
- Create and manage Jira projects.
- Create and manage GitHub repos and actions.
- Design and implement highly available and secure environments in Azure.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as code using DevOps, Terraform and ARM Templates.
- Construct overall Azure Network design and security model.
- Review all environment designs to ensure best-practice application of both PaaS and IaaS services.
- Design monitoring and alerting frameworks for all environments – Security, Compliance and Health.
- Ability to monitor & respond to system events.
- Mentor engineers and systems administrators in the design, implementation and support of Azure based systems and services.
- Configure, manage, and maintain cloud services.
- 4 -5 years relevant work experience (Preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Azure Fundamentals Certification (Preferred)
- Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.
- Source code management tools, including Git for Windows and Tortoise Git.
- Git best practices.
- Create and manage projects, repos and build/release pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jira and GitHub.
- Experience leveraging Application Insights to promote system stability.
- Experience with both IaaS and PaaS Azure product offerings.
- Infrastructure as Code experience utilizing Terraform and Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Experience with scripting technologies like PowerShell or bash.
- Strong project management skills (SAFe Agile preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft SQL server and/or Snowflake a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare with relevant experience in Risk Adjustment, Quality and RX a plus.
- Power BI deployment experience a plus.

Job Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer on the Veradigm Payer Dev Ops team, you’ll work closely with Business and Technical Leaders from across the organization to manage and monitor our Azure based cloud solutions. Some systems will involve a rearchitecting of our applications to leverage Azure Cloud Native Services including Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and Power BI, with a focus on automation, scalability, availability, and security. During this transition, you’ll be responsible for designing and building our Cloud infrastructure in Azure. As systems go live, the role will transition to more traditional site reliability engineering practices. We’re looking for someone with experience creating a foundation for success in managing systems in a public cloud setting. This is a key position in a highly visible strategic initiative to pay down technical debt, modernize our systems and build a secure and robust cloud infrastructure to support the continued growth of our best-in-class healthcare solutions!
