- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of successful manufacturing experience.
- At least one year of supervisory experience managing 10 or more employees.
- Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced business environment.
- Proven capability to operate effectively in a dynamic organization.
- Skilled at challenging and collaborating with various department.
- Proficient in analyzing situations and developing effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with all organizational levels and a diverse customer base.
- Previous experience in the aluminum industry is a plus.
- Experience in fostering employee involvement within multi-discipline teams is a plus .
- Conduct and manage risk assessments, implementing necessary improvement actions.
- Direct department staff to efficiently coordinate administrative and production functions.
- Supervise department personnel effectively.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of die shop staff.
- Analyze, evaluate, and enhance die shop procedures and processes.
- Ensure staffing needs are met, including hiring, training, development, and goal setting.
- Enforce processes and procedures consistently.
- Foster and promote a collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 principles for quality management and ISO 14001/18001 principles for HSE management.
- Provide 24/7 support for continuous operations.

Job Summary:
The Die Shop Supervisor will lead the department in setting and achieving objectives and long-term goals while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role involves fostering collaboration with other departments to support overall organizational success. A key responsibility is to maintain a safe working environment by promoting a strong safety culture and proactively identifying and addressing any unsafe conditions. The supervisor will also embody and promote the Hydro Core Values in all aspects of their work. This position reports to the Operations Manager.
