- Demonstrates ability to operate commercial food preparation equipment.
- Maintain quality product freshness as assured by proper label dating and rotation.
- Stock work area and tray line.
- Completes all duties of specific food production area.
- Completes assigned cleaning tasks and maintains temperature logs for work area.
- AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred.
- One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred.
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
Overview
We are seeking a Diet Clerk, in the Cafeteria at Riverview Regional Medical Center (Gadsden, AL), a member of Prime Healthcare. The Diet Clerk performs a variety of patient and non-patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

Hours: 6:00AM – 6:00PM (Need to work three 12 hour shifts per week)
