- Serve as a consultant to central office and facilities on statewide basis on dietetic/nutrition and food service programs (e.g., write and revise diet manual, ingredient room manual, and food service policy and procedure manual, monitor compliance of facilities, and develop, implement, and monitor quality control mechanisms)
- Plan, evaluate, and implement regular, special, and modified diets to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, treatment plans and accreditation standards
- Oversee reimbursable meals program through Ohio Department of Education and adhere to all food service policies and requirements; conduct quarterly menu audits
- Complete nutrition assessments of youth (e.g., review medical chart, interview youth regarding likes, dislikes, allergies, and/or chewing or digestion problems)
- Maintain dietary and nutrition records, reports, and progress notes (e.g., youth charting, census sheets, treatment plans)
- Plan and/or conduct in-service training programs pertaining to nutrition for youth and staff and attend various meetings (e.g., treatment team meetings)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietitian to join our Office of Medical Services. This role will serve as a consultant to our central office and facilities, ensuring the nutritional well-being of the youth in our facilities.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Current licensure as dietitian as issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section 4759.06 of Revised Code.
