What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling to patients
- Educate patients on diabetes self-management
- Document clinical information and care plans according to agency standards
- Assist in program evaluation and implementation of protocols
- Develop and present nutrition education and outreach activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition-related field
- Minimum of two years clinical/community experience
- Current Illinois licensure as a Licensed Dietitian
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification
