What You'll Do:
Ohio Department of Public Safety - Ohio State Highway Patrol
Report In Location - 740 East 17Th Avenue, Columbus, 43211
Within the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Training Academy, plans, evaluates, & implements regular, special, & modified diets to ensure compliance with state & federal regulations treatment plans, & accreditation standards (e.g., monitors & adjusts diets of employees to assure they are acquiring adequate food & meals to meet nutritional needs; completes employee nutritional screening; attends one-on-one sessions with employees across the state for nutritional guidance; develops care plans; provides on-going nutritional intervention; etc.); Completes nutrition & diet assessments (e.g., reviews medical charts; interviews patients; provides nutritional guidance & counseling; etc.); Maintains dietary & nutrition records (e.g., completes patient charting; monitors patient progress; maintains & updates treatment plans; etc.).
Plans &/or conducts training courses for OSHP employees (e.g., conducts in-service training programs pertaining to nutrition for patients & staff; develops & presents information on diet education; attends internal meetings; etc.); Creates & tracks reports (i.e., daily, monthly, & quarterly); Performs other related duties as assigned.
