      Responsibilities

      As a Dietitian at Meridell Achievement Center, you'll be part of a dynamic and compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and neurobehavioral challenges.

      Your Impact:

      The Dietitian approves menus including modified diets from the hospital, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.

      Qualifications

      What You'll Bring:

      • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
      • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years dietary experience in a health care facility, with concentration in nutritional assessment and planning preferred.
      • Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure to practice dietetics in the state of Texas.
