      SUMMARY:

      We are seeking a motivated Marketing Data Analyst to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role you will manipulate and interpret data to optimize campaign performance and audience engagement. You will collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity, forecast demand, and align strategies with marketing objectives and budgets. This role demands advanced analytical skills, collaborative nature, and strategic thinking to drive effective digital marketing strategies.

      REPORTS TO: Growth Analyst

      LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (Remote, with ability to come into office as needed)

      WHAT YOU’LL DO:

      • Data Analysis and Reporting:
        • Manipulate and interpret complex data sets to uncover actionable insights regarding campaign performance, audience engagement, and conversion metrics.
        • Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards using analytical tools such as Mixpanel, Segment, Google Analytics, Looker, and data visualization platforms.
        • Leverage existing analytics software to improve customer attribution models.
        • Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast demand for marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
      • Digital Media Strategy:
        • Collaborate closely with our Performance Marketing Team to analyze campaign data, identify opportunities for optimization, and align digital media strategies with overarching marketing goals, ensuring that paid media efforts contribute effectively to the achievement of business objectives.
        • Conduct rigorous A/B tests at channel and tactic levels to assess incrementality, analyzing results to determine the true impact of specific marketing channels and tactics on overall campaign performance and ROI.
      • Cross-functional collaboration:
        • Collaborate closely with data engineers to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data pipelines and data models, conducting regular audits and troubleshooting to maintain data quality and reliability, ultimately ensuring that the business has access to accurate and actionable insights for informed decision-making.
        • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Planning, etc) to align forecasting efforts with marketing objectives and budget planning processes.

      WHO YOU ARE

      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
      • 3-5 years experience as data analyst, preferably in a marketing role
      • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights
      • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL proficiency required; bonus proficiency with Mixpanel, Segment, Google Analytics, Python (or R), Looker, and data visualization tools.
      • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize requests and make adjustments based on developing business needs
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
      • Able to work effectively in a team environment and make informed decisions independently

      Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

      The estimated pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000.
