      Job Description

      Information Technology (IT) summer interns help develop, implement, and support technologies that run Parker's operations worldwide. These paid positions offer flexible daytime hours and prepare undergraduate college students for professional roles.

      Your Role


      Essential Functions:

    • Assisting team members with the deployment of enterprise technologies.
    • Supporting other IT team members and end-users.
    • Monitoring and responding to daily support tickets and calls.
    • Recommending improvements that simplify business processes and reduce costs.
    • Documenting team procedures and writing reports .


      Key Responsibilities:
      We hire college undergraduates for the following areas:
    • Application development
    • Business analysis/project management
    • Infrastructure support
    • IT security, and data analysis

      Your Profile


      Qualifications:


    • High School diploma followed by one year of study at an accredited four-year college
    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related area
    • 3.0 GPA or higher
    • US Person Status
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple assignments
    • Ability to work both independently and on a team
    • Ability to relate to all levels of the organization
    • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
