  Job Title: Digital Architect

  Job Description

  We are seeking skilled Digital Architects to join our team and contribute to service innovation and digital transformation projects. These roles involve working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, effective, and affordable services. The Digital Architects will provide strategic guidance, oversee software architecture, and ensure alignment with a common vision for digital services.

  Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution architecture of digital services, focusing on citizen-centered design and agile software approaches.
  • Uncover existing system contexts and provide recommendations and prototypes for technical discovery and feasibility.
  • Guide teams in the iterative delivery of user-centric services, ensuring alignment with technical standards and coding practices.
  • Facilitate frequent product delivery to achieve the target architecture, and determine tactical approaches for integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage common components and capabilities of other digital services.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to product teams, contributing to code changes and reviewing code.
  • Develop principles, metrics, and standards for service quality and delivery.
  • Create materials, documents, and presentations to convey software architecture information to diverse audiences.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the architecture practice.

  Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience leading cross-functional agile product teams and providing architectural direction.
  • Experience as a software architect in enterprise-scale solutions using modern development stacks.
  • 4 years of experience in defining and communicating solution architecture for large-scale systems.
  • 5 years of strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience applying secure development practices and managing identity and access control.
  • 5 years of experience designing modern web applications with responsiveness and accessibility.
  • 4 years of experience designing and managing APIs and systems integrations.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
  • Experience transforming legacy systems into modern digital services.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration for cloud environments.
  • 4 years of experience with distributed systems design, including event-driven architecture.
  • Experience working within public sector digital service frameworks.

  
  

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $120.00/hr.

  This is a fully remote position.
