      Job Description & Summary

      Our Digital Assurance and Transparency practice (DAT) is at the forefront of innovation, supporting both delivery of quality, tech-enabled solutions focused on trust and transparency and value-add growth in business and social issues that are top of mind with our clients. You’ll work closely with clients, your Digital Assurance and Transparency team, and our external audit teams to understand the systems and technologies our clients use and how they can mitigate risk. As a Digital Assurance and Transparency professional, you’ll be part of an organization with a focus on quality, value, innovation, emerging technologies (e.g. cloud, digital assets), and growth and gain experience across several of our specialized areas of focus throughout your career.

      A career within the Environmental Social and Governance team in our Digital Assurance and Transparency practice enables you to have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals that have a blend of sustainability, finance, accounting, and industry expertise who are focused on providing audit and consulting services to our clients to help them build trust with their stakeholders. The practice specializes in providing audit and consulting services in significant areas such as climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, human capital, Environmental Social and Governance reporting frameworks, and sustainable finance.

      Job Description

      ● We are looking for an extremely self-motivated individual
      who will relish the opportunity to join a growing part of the
      PwC business, using their skills in developing key internal
      relationships.
      ● You will play an integral role in PwC’s ESG (CSRD) services
      provided to clients.
      ● Understand the process workflow related to work requests
      from initiation through completion, understand how
      workflow is managed within the firm's workflow
      management tool, understand optimal and required manner
      in which to document results of work performed
      ● Participate in a wide range of projects and collaborate across
      multiple work streams or teams ; consistently demonstrating
      creative thinking, individual initiative and timely completion
      of assigned work
      ● Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by working as
      a team member: understand personal and team roles;
      contribute to a positive working environment by building
      solid relationships with team members; and proactively seek
      guidance, clarification and feedback.
      ● Serve as participant on communications with numerous
      engagement teams
      ● The individual should have the ability to work effectively
      under pressure without compromising professional
      standards

      or quality of the work being performed.
      ● You would be supporting assurance of non financial matrices
      required per CSRD/EU Taxonomy and will include some of
      following activities
      o Review of Double materiality analysis including IRO
      document
      o Review of sustainability statement to ascertain
      disclosures are aligned with CSRD/EU Taxonomy
      o Test of details (Substantive testing / analytical
      Procedures) and control for various ESG / Sustainability
      matrices (GHG, D&I, Waste, Water, Biodiversity etc)
      ● Perform work and provide related deliverables in accordance
      with SDC User Guide instructions as applied to engagement
      team work request submissions
      ● Maintain working knowledge of SDC User Guides
      ● Monitor time and manage deadlines
      ● Adhere to PwC SDC policies and procedures
      ● Participate in training, coaching and other developmental
      opportunities

      Requirements


      Knowledge Required:
      ● Understanding of audit concepts and regulations specific to ESG
      ● Understanding of ESG impact, risks etc in various business
      processes, industry, sectors etc.
      ● Detailed knowledge of various Global sustainability frameworks /
      standard (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ESRS, SASB, TCFD, CDP, GRI,
      GHG protocol)

      ● Basic understanding of concept of carbon neutrality and Net Zero,
      environmental due diligence
      ● Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e. Word,
      Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) including basic understanding of
      data visualization and analytics.
      ● Team Player, committed to provide high quality and adhering to
      engagement deadlines
      ● Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
      ● A highly motivated team player with excellent oral and written
      communication skills;
      ● Willing to take up additional responsibilities;
      ● Demonstrates high attention to detail and ability to handle large
      amounts of technical information

      Minimum Qualifications:
      ● Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting and Statistics/
      Sustainability Management and related fields / Management
      Information Systems/Engineering
      ● Minimum 4 years’ experience in the domains mentioned in the Job Description above


      Certification(s) preferred:
      ● Chartered Accountant
      ● SASB FSA Level 1 /Level 2
      ● ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification
      ● GRI/TCFD Certification
      ● ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
