      Parts and Field Service Business Unit Development (PFS BUD) supports the development and continuous improvement of the Parts and Field Service Business Unit in creating the strategic Roadmap to reach better business performance and capture new business opportunities.


      PFS BUD supports the Business Unit in enhancing efficiency and continuous improvement of the flow, through innovation, collaboration, digitalization and a customer-centric approach, on a global scale and in a safe environment. PFS BUD works as a business partner for many stakeholders in Marine Power, as well as Energy Services.

      We are now looking for a Digital Commerce and Data Expert to join our team. As a digital commerce and data expert, you will be responsible for ensuring that the commercial numbers are up to date and available, data quality is maintained and enhanced, and automation is explored and taken into use where meaningful. You will be supporting stakeholders in the topic and reporting to the digital commerce manager.

      Position information:

      This position is permanent, and the position is preferably located in a main Wärtsilä location within the European time zone. However, other locations can be considered.

      What we do:


      Digital Customer Experience as part of PFS BUD, is a business partner enabling better coordination, alignment, and effectiveness in the digital development and investments for Wärtsilä Online, B2B integration, Product Data Management, as well as future customer experience enablers. On top of operating the day-to-day digital customer interactions, leads initiatives investing in data, technology, and digital interaction development to improve digital customer journeys and digital customer experience. The team operates the Wärtsilä Online platform, Commerce, and B2B integrations as well as drives WPLM (Wärtsilä Product Lifecycle Management) operations and governance to follow the agreed best practices and ensure support to the Wärtsilä strategy.

      What we offer:


      Join the Digital Commerce team in Digital Customer Experience in the newly established role as Digital Commerce and Data Expert. This role reports to the Digital Commerce Manager. As the position is new, suitable candidates should be able to proactively assess the scope of work and responsibilities.

      Responsibilities:

      • Monitor and analyze the digital commerce performance and trends
      • Provide accurate and timely reports and dashboards to the business team and other stakeholders
      • Identify and implement data quality improvement initiatives and best practices
      • Collaborate with IT and other teams to develop and optimize data pipelines and automation solutions
      • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and business knowledge
      • Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in digital commerce and data

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, data science, or related field
      • At least 3 years of experience in digital commerce, data analysis, or similar role
      • Proficient in data visualisation tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
      • Experience working with SalesForce
      • Experience in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis languages is seen as an asset
      • Knowledge of data quality management and data governance principles
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
      • Passionate about digital commerce and data
