Job Description

- Design eye-catching visuals for digital communication campaigns, including online ads, video thumbnails, website graphics, banner ads and more
- Create graphics and edit photos for social media posts and ad campaigns across PSEG Long Island’s social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Create properly sized and formatted graphics for very distinct channels and audiences
- Work with Video Content Producer to create best-in-class short-form video content optimized for high attention retention on platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Source photos from stock photography sites and company repository for use across PSEG Long Island’s digital platforms
- Develop infographics and banners for digital display such as monitors and screensavers
- Schedule and manage proactive social media posts
- Work with external and internal stakeholders to curate digital content to drive brand awareness and the support and adoption of PSEG Long Island’s initiatives and programs
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, marketing or similar role
- 5+ years of experience in digital graphic design, with a focus on social media content
- Demonstrated working experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as design apps such as Canva
- Broad understanding of color theory and typography
- Excellent understanding of design principles and attention to detail
- Proven track record of successful digital campaigns utilizing visual content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results
- Command of each social media network and knowledge of best practices
- Must possess a valid US Driver's license
- Experience in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or other video editing applications a plus
- Website CMS experience a plus
- Experience with Digital Asset Management platform

Job Summary
This position reports to the Manager of Content Creation & Social Media. The core objective for this job is to create a wide variety of digital content in order to educate and inform PSEG Long Island's customer base as well as internal and external stakeholders. Digital content includes but is not limited to the creation of social media imagery and copy, website content and photography, video graphics and animation.
The position requires a creative thinker who is passionate about creating best-in-class digital content for PSEG Long Island’s channels including internal and external websites, social media channels, and digital screens.
Command of best practices and trends in digital graphic design, and understand how to leverage graphics to build and engage audiences on digital platforms. A top-tier candidate must have a love for visual storytelling, understand the importance of brand perception and possess the digital media skills to achieve varied business goals.Job Responsibilities
