      Salary - National (Leeds) ranging from £67,100 to £90,000 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

      Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) is leveraging state-of-the-art data & digital capabilities to deliver innovation in regulation. We utilise data science and intelligence gathering to proactively identify and intervene to prevent harm and protect consumers.

      We are currently looking for a Delivery Manager to be part of our exciting new Digital Delivery Hub in Leeds. You will be accountable for the effective delivery and oversight of key products and services delivered through the Digital Delivery Hub and provide delivery leadership to your workstream, acting as the key point of engagement with a number of teams and business partners.

      You will support the Senior Delivery Manager in providing leadership, coaching and expertise in a full range of delivery skillsets, including Agile delivery methodologies, governance, DevSecOps and User Centre Design (UCD) practices, ensuring workstreams are set up effectively and managed in a high quality, consistent manner.

      What will you be doing?

      • Assist the Senior Delivery Manager in implementing effective delivery management for assigned workstreams/projects within a portfolio of products and services

      • Build, manage, and develop multidisciplinary teams, ensuring appropriate structure and skills to meet delivery needs

      • Own and maintain the workstream delivery roadmap, aligning it with business strategies, priorities, and outcomes while supporting backlog, blueprint, and user story development

      • Oversee workstream architecture, collaborating with technical leads to ensure solutions are flexible, high-performing, and meet business requirements

      • Ensure effective software methodologies aligned with agile/lean principles and adopt DevSecOps practices with automation, continuous integration, deployment, and operational monitoring

      • Embed security, reliability, and performance in team skills, development processes, and architecture, while managing governance, dependencies, risks, budgets, and people effectively

      What will you get from the role?

      • This is a key managerial role in the development of a new Leeds Digital Delivery Hub in the FCA and in the wider goal of shaping the culture, ways of working and effectiveness of the digital delivery teams that are being recruited to form the new capability

      • Beyond the Leeds Digital Delivery Hub the role will give the right candidate the opportunity to be a key member of the team shaping and implementing the future of digital delivery in the organisation as we evolve our Agile, DevOps and user centred delivery capability

      Minimum

      • Experience of leading and acting as the key point of engagement with business partners

      • Extensive experience in delivering products and services in a high visibility, complex operating environment

      • Experience in providing leadership, coaching and expertise in a full range of delivery skillsets, including Agile delivery methodologies, governance, DevSecOps and UCD practices

      Essential

      • Identify and adapt delivery methods, encourage experimentation and blend approaches based on context, all while measuring and evaluating outcomes and supporting teams to manage and visualise outputs

      • Listen to and interpret the needs of technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage expectations, facilitate effective communication, and host challenging discussions with diverse senior stakeholders

      • Facilitate team delivery flow, manage pace and tempo, and address risks, issues, and dependencies within and outside your immediate team

      • Identify and question complex or unnecessary processes, coach where required, and guide teams in implementing new processes

      • Use data to prioritise tasks, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery confidence -remove blockers, plan for challenging situations, and align team capacity with agreed plans

      • Foster team collaboration, create an empowering work environment, resolve issues, and shape team composition based on needs

      • Balance technical and business perspectives to manage active and reactive communication effectively while navigating complex discussions
