      With recent wins and a strong pipeline of major upcoming projects, we are looking to grow our digital delivery team and we’re recruiting Digital Engineers, BIM Managers and Information Managers to join our teams in Wellington & Tauranga.

      We are an ISO19650 certified business who are dedicated to driving best practice and continuous improvement. We have a strong and established digital network within Aurecon comprising modelling, computational design, information management, digital experience/ visualisation, GIS and data and analytics in New Zealand.

      What will you do?
      Based either in Wellington or Tauranga, you will work across a diverse portfolio of Major Transport Projects that are linear Roads/Rail Corridors as well as spatial projects such as public transport stations and Urban Realm projects across the full project delivery lifecycle. You will be undertaking Digital Engineering leadership, BIM management and/or Information Management roles on these projects, depending on your background, expertise and career aspirations.
      You will work closely with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients and contractors to setup projects for digital delivery and solve complex engineering problems.


      You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the Aurecon Digital Twin, Decarbonisation and Sustaining Capital initiatives where we are leveraging our knowledge of data to transform our client’s asset management capabilities.

      We are looking for leaders and aspiring leaders in Digital Engineering, BIM Management and Information Management:
      • A tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, BIM or other applicable field.
      • Strong communication skills and the ability to share your knowledge, convey the value of digital initiatives and processes to our clients and internal engineering teams.
      • Have a track record of working on infrastructure projects in either an engineering, design, modelling or other relevant leadership roles.
      • An understanding of as many of the following software and platforms: OpenRoads, OpenRail, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil3D, 12D, Rhino, Navisworks, Revizto, BIM Track, ProjectWise, BIM 360/AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Synergy and Sharepoint.
      • An interest in Computational Design and automation opportunities within BIM workflows.
      • An understanding of Common Data Environments including the alignment of workflows with the project BIM and ISO19650 protocols.
      • Experience developing and executing Digital Work Plans or similar.

      Desirable, but not essential:
      • A Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Study qualification.
      • Experience with 3D Modelling and Design.
      • Previous leadership experience.
