      As of March 2022 Shoppers Drug Mart has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 2 days a week, while spending the other 3 days in the office.

      Why is this role important?

      We are hiring a Digital Health Co-op Student to support digital health strategic projects within the Health and Wellness space. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Health, this role will collaborate on components of the strategic planning and execution of high priority enterprise initiatives, with a specific focus on enabling digital health technologies in and for our pharmacies. In this role, you will enhance and expand on existing experiences between our network of pharmacies and PC Health, a customer facing health and wellness platform which empowers users to better access, navigate and manage their healthcare needs with a vision to be the digital front-door to healthcare for all Canadians.

      In this role you will support and work closely with our pharmacy and healthcare business leads, as well as the operations, data & analytics and information technology teams, to identify, structure and guide digital health opportunities into viable solutions. With the support of internal teams, you will use customer insights and analytical models to assess opportunities and determine the impact of innovative digital health initiatives.

      What You'll Do:

      • Support the execution and project management of new strategic opportunities in the digital space related to pharmacy and healthcare
      • Support ongoing improvements to the patient and pharmacist experience in the digital scheduling experience
      • Collaborate on day-to-day coordination of large cross-functional, cross-enterprise digital health projects and initiatives, resolving issues as needed
      • Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and best practices to drive better user experience and enable more patients to successfully engage in our digital solutions
      • Support with driving user acquisition and engagement through input on product roadmap decisions, using data, customer insights and user feedback
      • Support with regular business reporting on product performance

      What You'll Need:

      • Completing a university degree with a concentration in Business and / or Health Sciences, preferred
      • Ability to conduct data analyses with complex data sets and problem-solving skills
      • Background or interest in digital health, product management and technical execution
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with interpersonal skills
      • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
      • Experience with Slack, Jira, Confluence (or similar agile project management tools) is an asset
      • Ability to be proactive on deliverables
      • Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
      • Ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals
      • Ability to understand and interest in healthcare regulatory frameworks and healthcare ecosystem
