- Digital Product Innovation: writing strategic & functional requirements for new digital products & projects, coordinating closely with key stakeholders to ensure new products are holistically aligned with team vision and goals, designing and driving experiments to explore key strategic topics via new digital products, from ideation through execution & results analysis
- Project Oversight & Ownership: driving the development and implementation of innovative tools supporting the launch of new retail experiences, managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met and the final deliverables meet quality standards, owning the post-launch phase of all products, ensuring the continued functionality and optimization of digital products, conducting regular assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and initiating updates or enhancements
- Vendor Management: collaborating cross-functionally with the team to launch new vendor projects, including benchmarking for vendor selection, leading coordination with external agencies tasked with building new products for the Open innovation team, driving new innovation projects with vendor partners, collaborating closely to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables and driving execution
- Team Collaboration: fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams, including retail, marketing, IT, and design, to ensure seamless creation, integration & launch of digital initiatives, working closely with retail teams to drive adoption of digital tools across projects, owning digital responsibilities for cross-team projects requiring digital expertise—for example CRM & marketing
- Performance Analysis: identifying digital KPIs for all team projects, owning quality & results analysis required for product maintenance, enhancement and experiment reporting, conducting thorough analysis and measurement of experiment performance using relevant metrics and KPIs, working closely with team Intelligence partners, producing insights to refine digital strategies, enhance user experience, and drive continuous improvement.

- You have a proven record of successfully managing agency partnerships or development teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- You have 7+ years in a digital management or innovation leadership role, preferably within a consumer-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Additional certifications in project management or digital / innovation programs are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with digital product development processes, software development lifecycle, and project management methodologies. Experience managing developers or technical teams is a plus.

CHANEL is looking for a Digital Director to join our Open Innovation New Concepts & Experience team in New York! We're redefining the future of retail through innovative digital experiences, and we're seeking a skilled candidate to help spearhead our experiments & new initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and a passion for digital management and innovation.

POSITION LOGISTICS:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $133,000 to $168,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components will include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.
