The position

Our Digital Innovation Hub unit seeks, collects, and evaluates ideas and new technologies for the future development of Novo Nordisk in collaboration with external partners. The goal of this position is to provide partnering and digital consulting services and thus contribute to the overall success of Novo Nordisk Region Germany.

The position is initially limited to two years with the option of being made permanent.

As a Digital Innovation Hub Consultant, you

• will take the lead on cross-functional initiatives and strategic innovation projects across our therapeutic areas from idea to pilot project

• act as an internal expert and partner to the regional teams while combining your view of external trends and your knowledge of digital technologies with a strong understanding of challenges in the various therapeutic areas and complex framework conditions in the healthcare environment

• Together with external providers, development partners, and start-up collaborations, you ensure innovative drive and excellent solutions, including Lean start-ups, best practices, and agile methods.

• You also participate in digital innovation strategies and promote them in collaboration with key stakeholders from the business.

• also present these development and growth opportunities to both internal and external partners and ensure the introduction of new technologies through good guidance.

Your qualifications

For the position as Digital Innovation Hub Consultant, you need:

• Master's degree in IT and/or business administration, innovation, or strategy and more than 5 years of experience in a broad IT field (e.g., specification, design, development, management, and implementation of IT solutions), project management, consulting/agency, or digital field of a company

• A track record of success in innovative projects that drive disruptive technologies from idea to market launch. Ideally, you also have experience and knowledge in healthcare.

• Not only knowledge and passion for digital trends but also strong knowledge of disruptive and emerging technologies.

• You have a customer-centric and innovative mindset, you love taking responsibility, and when things need to move quickly, you perform really well.

• You are able to adapt your communication to relevant interest groups from different levels of authority and experience and have a strong, communicative, and reliable personality who is used to working on an equal footing with different stakeholders.

Compromise and openness characterize your teamwork. You should have fluent English skills to enable professional exchange with international colleagues. German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

About the department

DD&IT (Digital, Data & IT) is a new department at Novo Nordisk, anchored in the regional office of Novo Nordisk. DD&IT works closely with all areas of the Region Germany organization, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration on innovative digital projects. The goal is to prioritize critical IT and digital solutions and support departments in implementing new technologies and solutions to ultimately contribute to better patient care. The Digital Innovation Hub is part of DD&IT in Region Germany and is disciplinarily part of the global Business Innovation Garage (BIG) and thus a network of 7 other innovation hubs worldwide.
