  Job Summary

  Wilsonart, u00A0 Temple, Texas u00A0 has an immediate opening for a u00A0 Digital Inspector- Material Handler. This individual u00A0 Assists area in any jobs the department needs assistance in. Perform other tasks as required.u00A0 This is a straight night position 4:00 pm u2013 4:00 am.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  u00A0

  • Pull laminate from the bins and flip laminate.u00A0
  • Load laminate bins. u00A0

  • Inspect every sheet of all Custom Laminate orders (VDL and for customer orders) .
  • Prioritize Orders to ensure oldest are worked first .
  • Verify that customer is getting the correct pattern (Use standards samples to verify) .
  • Assure that the artwork is correct for customer orders .
  • Band pallets .
  • Operate lifts .
  • Correctly mark all material, with cut dimensions , that needs trimming at saw .
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment .
  • Set up tables, pallets and skids for the inspection process .
  • Move inspected material to staging area from Custom to carton area .
  • Basic computer skills

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area .
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.u00A0u00A0
  • Ability to read a tape measure (to 16th).

  MINIMUM u00A0 REQUIREMENTS :

  EDUCATION:

  High School Graduate or GED. u00A0 EXPERIENCE: One yearu2019s experience working in distribution and or manufacturing.u00A0 u00A0

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: u00A0 C ontinuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight of 50 - 100 pounds.

  Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness
