      Job Summary:

      The Market Leader spearheads initiatives that transform the energy, healthcare, and private equity sectors, positioning BDO as the go-to Digital advisor, driving strategic growth and market leadership for the firm.. This role involves managing and expanding large client relationships, generating new business through a well-established personal network, and shaping market messaging to position BDO as a trusted advisor. The Market Leader collaborates with internal teams to ensure integrated service delivery, while also serving as a visible and influential presence in the local business community. This individual is a strategic leader who drives the geographic market forward through insight, innovation, and relationship excellence.

      Job Duties:

      • Client Leadership & Relationship Management
        • Serves as the primary relationship manager for large, strategic accounts
        • Builds and maintains executive-level relationships with key clients and prospects
        • Ensures client satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic engagement
      • Business Development & Market Expansion
        • Drives new business opportunities through a well-established professional network
        • Identifies and pursues high-value opportunities in energy, healthcare, and private equity
        • Collaborates with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs
      • Market Strategy & Messaging
        • Develops and refines market messaging and positioning for the market
        • Represents BDO at industry events, conferences, and local business forums
        • Acts as a thought leader and brand ambassador in the market
      • Leadership & Collaboration
        • Partners with service line leaders to ensure integrated delivery and client success
        • Contributes to the development of regional growth strategies and performance goals
        • Mentors and supports team members in business development and client engagement

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      • Leads and mentors team members involved in business development and client engagement Provides strategic direction and coaching to ensure alignment with market goals and client expectations
      • Oversees performance management, including setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and supporting professional development
      • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
      • Fosters a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
      • Serves as a role model for ethical leadership, client service excellence, and market stewardship

      Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      Education:

      • High School Diploma or GED, required
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Information Technology, preferred
      • MBA, preferred

      Experience:

      • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or consulting as a market leader, required
      • Experience and success managing large, complex client relationships, required
      • Experience with generating new business through professional networks, required
      • Experience in business development and marketing expansion within key sectors: energy, healthcare, and private equity, preferred
      • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, preferred
      • Experience with leveraging Microsoft’s ecosystem to drive client value and market differentiation, preferred

      License/Certifications:

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, required

      • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences

      • High level of integrity, credibility, and professionalism in representing the firm
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining focus on strategic goals
      • Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and driving initiatives forward
      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
      • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
      • Comfortable working under pressure and navigating unexpected challenges with professionalism
      • Deep understanding of Microsoft’s ecosystem and ability to leverage Microsoft partnerships to drive client value
      • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation, growth, and market leadership
