      Digital Marketer Degree Apprentice, Kohler Mira

      Job Summary
      You will join a high-performing marketing team that manages all aspects of the marketing mix for a market-leading brand and has a successful legacy of early careers. You will learn and obtain experience in the fundamentals in all aspects of Marketing, primarily Digital through training with ‘The Development Manager – remote based, and through onsite placements at Kohler Mira.
      Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be taught, and will put into practice, your Marketing skills which will be key to develop and pursue your career aspirations.

      You will join an ever-growing cohort of apprentices across the business and engineering functions all focused on working towards similar goals. We encourage and empower our apprentices to strive for achievement with many of them having won awards at nationally recognised events for Sustainability, and Contact Centre contributions, and recognition awards through their colleges.
      Your Apprenticeship will last for approximately 3/4 years, dependent on experience, during this time you will rotate around the wide range of Marketing teams in the business.

      Key Responsibilities
      You will be employed full-time (37 hours/week) including part time study consisting of 6 hours per week off the job learning which includes all remote teaching and mentor sessions with the Development Manager training provider. The remainder of the time learners will work in a hybrid model, either from home or at Kohler Mira in Cheltenham developing their practical skills. A combination of study and the practical skills you will gain will achieve you a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing.

      The BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing Integrated Degree with the Development Manager offers modules on core marketing competencies and will build the ability to lead on the creation and execution of a digital marketing strategy which support job roles within Kohler Mira.
      Whilst in the business, you will undertake a series of projects to support your study and business marketing activity across all marketing functions: Digital Transformation, Communications, Product and Channel marketing. These projects will enable you to understand how marketing interacts with all other areas of the business and provide practical application of the theory you will learn on the degree course.

      These may include:
      - Understand the fundamentals of the Marketing mix & Digital Marketing mix
      - Stakeholder engagement and management, both internally, externally and as part of a global organisation
      - Learn and apply the appropriate tools for a data-led approach to analyse marketing information and platforms, data and social media
      - Knowledge of professional bodies and their insights into emerging technologies, trends and themes within the digital marketing environment
      - Contribute to business planning & marketing strategies
      - Manage and optimise key channels and content within a digital marketing plan
      - Interpret, communicate and brief internal or external stakeholders on digital business requirements
      - Identify, recognise and understand internal and external business intelligence and factors that may affect the organisation

      Regular time for self-reflection and review, and one to ones with your dedicated manager will be in place. You will also be able to access, and utilise, our comprehensive Associate training courses and materials. This will support you to regularly review your strengths and areas for development, and for two-way feedback.

      As an apprentice you will also:
      - Support and be a part of the Kohler Mira Apprentice Community
      - Support STEAM Events at Kohler Mira
      - Participate in Charity events and add value to work packages
      - And more!

      Skills/Requirements

      - A minimum of 5 GSCEs, achieved, A*- C or 9 – 4, including English, Maths and Science
      - A minimum of 3 A-Levels, or equivalent.
      - A L3 Marketing/Business apprenticeship would be an asset but not a requirement
      - Strong desire to learn and develop, using open thinking; able to easily adapt to new ways of working
      - An evident interest in Marketing as a subject
      - Experience of Marketing activities are advantageous but not necessary. This may include:
      - Hobbies or voluntary work
      - Previous work experience
      - Business related school subjects
      - Good IT skills - A working knowledge of Microsoft office programs is sufficient
      - Ideally able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, e.g. through part time employment and/or voluntary activities

      If successful at the assessment centre, final stage applicants will be taken through to a formal interview, with the training provider week commencing 11th March 2024.
