Athletics | Digital MediaJob DescriptionThis Full-Time Term position will gain valuable experience in the Collegiate Athletic industry. It will provide support to department leaders, student athletes, coaches, and sports programs by providing operational support in specified unit. Assist with program development and implementation; development of departmental training. Assist with any administrative functions as assigned (e.g. filing, scheduling). Gain knowledge of a collegiate athletics department and NCAA rules & regulations. Maintain athletic required or position specific equipment. Support game day activities for assigned sports. Provide general operational support for assigned unit. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced, and innovation is encouraged.
Responsible for strategy and content development and administration of Ohio State di gital marketing campaigns including the department of athletics web site , social media platforms , email and in-venue advertising. Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director for Digital Media, individual will develop, implement, track and optimize our creative digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. Assist in designing , build ing and maintain ing Ohio State athletics social media presence and brand . This role will collaborate with the department of athletics and university digital media team s , marketing team s , its media rights holder and other va rious partners to determine campaigns and develop marketable digital media content . Individual will develop, maintain and advance the brand's identity through original and creative campaigns that engage, inform and motivate the target audience. This position also will hold a key role with sponsors and coordinating content with the department of athletics and its media rights holder. Individual also will be expected to lead department endeavors into emerging social media platforms, not only acting as an administrator for athletics enterprise accounts but also as an advisor for team staff as programs continue to build their digital portfolios. This position will attend various events and assist in social media coverage and oversee in-game campaign execution . This position will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best p ractices in online marketing and measurement .
Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing social media platforms. Experience in intercollegiate athletics preferred. Familiarity with Adobe Creative and ability to stay ahead of technologies and the most current web, social, video and design trends.

Additional Information:
The pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour. The offer for this position is based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's education and experience. This position qualifies for overtime and shift and weekend differential.
