      - Work Study Required
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Strategic Communications, Advertising, - Marketing, English, Fine Arts, or a related field.
      - Strong interest in marketing and eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      - Basic understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
      - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
      - Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
      - Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
      - Experience with or interest in search engine optimization and website editing.
      - Strong organizational and time management skills.

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      The Digital Marketing Intern with Sarah Best Strategy is a remote role that supports the Account Management and Strategy Departments, reporting to the Account Manager and Strategist. This internship is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or students pursuing a degree in marketing or a related field to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will work closely with our marketing team, contributing to various projects and gaining exposure to different aspects of marketing.

      This is a paid internship, 8-10 hours per week. This internship will be structured as a remote internship with required weekly check-in meetings and monthly team meetings, optional client meetings, and independent work. You’ll use Zoom video conferencing to sign in for check-ins and participate in client meetings.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      - Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels.
      - Assist with social media audits and digital marketing strategy projects.
      - Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
      - Support the development and execution of content for social media, email, and other marketing channels.
      - Review and update website pages to ensure that search engine optimization (SEO) best practices are being followed
      - Interpret and Analyze key social media metrics through weekly social media community management and monthly results reporting. Collaborate with team members to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
      - Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
      - Help maintain and update marketing databases and customer profiles. List maintenance.

      NONESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      - Completes other assignments and projects to meet business needs.
      - Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files and documentation.
      - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
      - Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative activities.

      Physical Demands:

      Work is primarily performed in a remote office setting and requires:
      - Must provide own laptop.
      - Use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer/photocopier, etc.)
      - Sitting for extended periods of time.
      - Travel occasionally within Madison for work-related meetings or events
