This is a secondment, ending on May 4, 2026 .
You will be working on a hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
Plan and deliver strategies for engaging customers and prospects through mobile channels and mobile-first capabilities such as SMS, notifications, alerts, etc.
Build and manage mobile-based marketing campaigns and workflows in a range of mobile-focused marketing technologies
Build SMS and notification workflows, owning the copywriting process, workflow set-up, compliance sign-off and campaign execution
Use mobile analytics and data-driven strategies to drive the overall mobile marketing strategy for each customer segment
Create mobile-first customer journey workflows to help customers achieve their goals, complete tasks and to deliver offers
Collaborate with Marketing Automation and Digital Experience teams to lead the implementation of responsive, mobile-optimized website landing pages and to deliver mobile-optimized campaigns
Act as a subject matter expert in drafting business requirements for mobile-marketing technologies and work with internal technology partners to oversee implementations
Own and manage well-documented opt-in processes for SMS/text, geolocation-based engagements, notifications and messages
Improve each step of the customer lifecycle through mobile tactics and capabilities
Measure and report on the effectiveness of mobile-centric strategies to engage clients and prospects through personalized mobile experiences
Drive conversions and improved experiences through seamless mobile interactions on web, SMS, mobile wallet, mobile advertising, messaging platforms and search
Work with key stakeholders to optimize advertising and search efforts for mobile
Work with key stakeholders to create unique-to-mobile content and ad formats in mobile-first social media and messaging platforms
Craft distinct experiences to exploit mobile capabilities
Set appropriate targets and regularly report on effectiveness
University degree, preferably with a focus on marketing, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience working with mobile marketing technology platforms or workflows (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud SMS, Urban Airship, Localytics, Vibes, Twilio, Waterfall SMS).
3-5 years' experience creating and leading mobile-first marketing campaigns.
Experience copywriting and building SMS and mobile notification workflows.
Experience using CRM platforms is considered a strong asset (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
Experience using marketing automation platforms is considered a strong asset (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Vibes).
Experience in the investment or financial services industry is considered an asset.
A mobile-first mindset and demonstrated leadership in creating bar-raising mobile-first strategies that deliver results
A deep curiosity and interest in improving customer experience through marketing and mobile marketing technologies and capabilities
Creative thinking with a passion for growth and performance marketing, especially through mobile-based promotions
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required
The ability to multi-task and manage multiple ongoing projects
Project management, organizational abilities and strong analytical skills essential
Interpersonal and influencing skills to achieve goals in Fidelity’s collaborative environment

How You’ll Make an ImpactThe Digital Marketing Mobile Operations Manager will introduce and execute a mobile-marketing strategy to reach customers on a range of various devices and mobile platforms. This role will act as a subject matter expert within the group on all aspects of customer experience as it relates to mobile marketing and introduce mobile-first approaches into wider marketing campaigns.
The Digital Marketing Mobile Operations Manager will be the go-to expert on a broad range of mobile tactics including SMS, mobile analytics, notifications, alerts, mobile wallet and other evolving mobile-first tactics. This will include leading mobile marketing platform implementations and integrations with other technologies such as CRM, marketing automation and analytics.
