- Develop and curate high-quality content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, for various digital media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, newsletter, website, etc.).
- Create engaging stories, reels, and live videos to maximize audience interaction.
- Write compelling captions and copy that resonate with our target audience.
- Produce content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media content calendars.
- Research and identify trending topics and hashtags to optimize content reach.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
- Track and analyze social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth).
- Generate regular reports on social media performance and insights.
- Use data to inform content strategy and optimize campaigns.
- Assist with the planning and execution of digital campaigns and promotions.
- Work closely with social media admin, design team, and other ministries to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all regular ministry staff meetings, monthly church staff meetings, staff retreats, training, etc.
- Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

- Critical Skills
- Proficiency in content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Video production and editing.
- Knowledge of social media advertising.
- Photography
- Project Management experience.
- Able to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Works flexibly with a variety of personalities.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
- 2 or more years in communications, graphic design, marketing, digital content or related field.
- Ability to lift up and carry 25 or more pounds
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Physically able to work inside and outside in various weather conditions
