      JOB TITLE : Digital Merchandiser

      ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE : Reports to Digital Merchandising Manager

      FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt – Full Time

      DEPARTMENT : Web

      LOCATION : In-office at the Lynnwood Home Office

      COMPENSATION BASE: $21.50-$28 / hour

      POSITION SUMMARY : The Digital Merchandiser is responsible for the presentation and selling of products online by curating and enhancing the customer shopping experience. The Digital Merchandiser works closely with the Digital Merchandising Manager to ensure the presentation of product, content, campaigns and events are engaging and on trend. With a passion for exceptional brand experiences and a customer-first mentality, the Digital Merchandiser owns the digital shopping path experience, helping the customer make the right buying decision.

      KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      EXECUTION:

      • Manage product categorization in partnership with Digital Merchandising Coordinator; assigning product to relevant categories, brands, attributes, discounts, sales messaging, etc.
      • Own product sequencing of assigned categories and brands. Includes curation and sorting of product in response to online and offline selling and industry trends.
      • Partner with sales team to execute Sale events, special promotions, collections, brand collaborations, launches, etc.
      • Ensure copy, photography, SEO and attributes are complete.
      • Continually audit the site and assigned category related pages for opportunities to optimize the customer experience focusing on shopability and conversion opportunities.
      • Develop and manage work methods and best practices to maximize productivity and efficiency of work.
      • Partner with Digital Merchandising Coordinator in markdown execution weekly.
      • Support Digital Merchandising Managers as needed.

      REPORTING & DATA MANAGEMENT:

      • Report out on category comps to LY and plan with high-level synopsis and recommendations. Support Digital Merchandising Managers with additional reporting and data gathering as needed.
      • Ensure accuracy of product data, categorization, attributes, filters, pricing, package inclusion, and markdowns.
      • Continuously perform competitive analysis and provide feedback to team.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve photo, content, messaging, attribute, and product status issues.

      COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION:

      • Manage execution and production of Outfit Guides.
      • Support Digital Merchandising Managers in identifying and executing merchandising content, assets, and messaging.
      • Collaborate with Buying, Digital Marketing, Digital Design & Photography, Customer Care, Fulfillment and Production teams in support of executing tactics to drive the business.
      • Contribute to and/or manage shared projects throughout the year. These can include: Digital Catalog, Gift Guide, Back to School, Holiday planning, Sale events.

      EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:

      • 1-3 years relevant retail buying and/or online merchandising experience
      • BA/BS -- business or marketing preferred
      • Experience in digital merchandising tactics (e.g. Categorization, Sequencing, Seasonal programs, Promotions, Shopping Tools, etc.)
      • Key knowledge of multi-channel retail, technology, e-Commerce, the internet, and marketing principles
      • Experience with basic web analytics platforms/tools (Google Analytics, PowerBI) or other relevant reporting tools
      • Experience working with content management systems to update website pages preferred (Magento, Sitecore).
      • Knowledge of retail math (e.g. gross margin, comp year calculations, sell through, etc.).
      • Understanding of or experience in online project management collaboration tools (Basecamp, JIRA)
      • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
      • May be assigned other duties and projects based on business needs.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

      • Ability to sit at a workstation in an office environment for extended periods and work on a PC without limitations.
      • Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM plus occasional nights and/or weekends, based on business need.
      • Ability to travel 2-5 days per year.
