Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for the team in alignment with organizational goals while managing risk and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance
Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to product team members, providing guidance and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and prioritization of product roadmaps and features
Develop and execute comprehensive plans for the end-to-end delivery of complex products, ensuring effective delivery and successful product releases
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, technology, operations, risk, compliance teams, to make strategic decisions to improve the customer experience and deliver maximum product value
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines and quality, employing appropriate mitigation strategies
Establish, communicate, and monitor product goals and performance indicators regularly to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions
As a people manager, you will also be responsible for:
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Lead and manage a team of product managers and delivery professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Set clear goals and expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
8+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management experience
12+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Strong dependency management skills
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, Jira and Jira Align
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

We are the Digital team supporting Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking , as part of the Strategy, Digital, and Innovation (SDI) group at Wells Fargo. The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. CB+CIB Digital drives the strategy and execution of digital tools and solutions for companies that range from approximately $5M in revenue up to multiple billions in revenue.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Product Management Director to join our Embedded Finance team. You will play a crucial role in managing and delivering complex product deliverables while leading a team of talented individuals. Your exceptional product leadership skills, combined with your deep understanding of the financial services industry, will contribute to the success of our organization by driving product innovation and fostering a high-performance culture.
Our Embedded Finance team focuses on enabling our clients and partners to seamlessly connect to the digital capabilities of Wells Fargo through the systems of their choice—with limited to no technology effort. This leader will help drive the product strategy, with a focus on embedding in client systems and tools, and will lead the development of platform enablers, embedded plug-ins and SDKs to streamline the integration of Wells Fargo APIs and financial products spanning every line of business.
