      Digital Product Owner - Hybrid

      Please Note: This position is hybrid, you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, CA or Coppell, TX to attend meetings and team collaboration.

      ClubLabs is the digital acceleration team for Automobile Club of Southern California, also known as, AAA. We are the team responsible for building intuitive customer experiences across the organization’s insurance, membership, financial, emergency roadside, and travel services. We’re a team of engineers, designers, researchers, and product managers within AAA delivering maximum value to our members and business for a smarter future.

      We’re currently in the search for an ambitious, empathic, and collaborative Product Owner who will be responsible for executing, communicating, and contributing to the product vision and strategy. This position requires a high degree of skill in converting business priorities into product backlog and user stories to ensure developing the right product and experiences for our members, aligning with business goals and objectives.

      What You Will Do:

      • Develop, implement, and communicate all strategic initiatives related to the assigned product.

      • Convert high level priorities into the smallest possible user stories.

      • Develop detailed user stories which may include some or all the following supplemental information, as applicable on a case-by-case basis: business process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams.

      • Prioritize the product backlog and partner with the Sr or Lead Product Owner or Product Manager to define KPIs and business goals for their product.

      • Collaborate with the product development team to document requirements and formulate usability and acceptance tests.

      • Help the design team understand and consult regarding product flow and rules to provide designs to the development team.

      • Work with the design team to formulate timely and effective usability a/b tests.

      • Convert insights from user and usability tests into user stories.

      • Coordinate with multiple areas of the organization to ensure product requirements align with established business rules and impacted business processes.

      • Regularly review web analytics, customer sessions and survey feedback for optimization opportunities and convert those into actionable backlog items.

      • Research competitive market for business opportunities and ensure integration of product line with the Club’s MRM strategy.

      • Develop product initiatives that synergize with other Club programs.

      • Evaluate financial and competitive impacts of potential product features.

      • Work with multiple areas of the organization including product distribution channels, sales, marketing, etc. to ensure the assigned product line initiatives are effectively communicated and promoted internally and externally to drive achievement of targeted goals.

      What You Will Need:

      • Four-year college degree (MS&IS, business, management, computer science or Information Technology, Mathematics or Engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.

      • Product management, product development, Agile product owner or related experience for a digital enterprise products or programs preferred.

      • Clear understanding of user interface (UI) and the basic principles and design qualities that have been shown to make web applications easier to use.

      • Experience with Insurance products and operations highly desired.

      • Experience with development and implementation of Conversational AI/Chatbots highly desired.

      • Experience creating business process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams.

      • Experienced in defining and leading implementation of new processes.

      • Experience leading qualitative and quantitative consumer research preferred.

      • Experience in an agile XP environment is preferred.

      The starting pay range for this position is:

      $106,200.00 - $156,400.00

      Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
