      The Digital Product Owner (DPO) leads Global Supply Chain digital procurement transformation initiatives and plays a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the teams. To do this, the DPO works to understand product requirements from the Global Supply Chain, define backlog items, prioritize the team backlog, and accept the work of the team as done while ensuring it meets the definition of done.

      Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

      • Responsible for maximizing the value of the products
      • Responsible for understanding and prioritizing the team’s Product Backlog
      • Responsible for understanding and increasing the efficiency of procurement processes
      • Communicate Product Backlog priorities to management and stakeholders
      • Responsible for the vision of what is to be built, and conveying that vision to the team
      • Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization
      • Responsible for making decisions on release dates and content
      • Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives
      • Inspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint and accept or reject the work that has been done by the Agile team
      • Act as the voice of the team, communicating status externally
      • Responsible for developing and improving Global Supply Chain analytics capabilities
      • Product Owner of Procure to Pay Solution for the Indirect Supply Chain
      • Procurement system ownership responsibilities: system access approvals, SOX and Data Privacy compliance management
      • Ensures effective change management.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate professional experience
      • 3+ years of experience in digital product management or leadership in improving procurement processes
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

      Top candidates will also possess these Qualifications

      • 3+ years of experience with the Agile methodology
      • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
      • Product Owner or Product Manager certification
      • Experience with Agile software tools such as Azure DevOps, Mingle, VSTS, JIRA, Rally
      • Knowledge of Solar’s turbomachinery products and services
      • Knowledge of Solar Turbines policies, standards, procedures, and a broad understanding of Solar’s organization
      • Analytics: Tableau author or PowerBi author
      • Change Management: strategies, communications, and training

      Summary Pay Range:

      $104,649.00 - $156,973.00

      Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
