      The Forum's Forum Spaces team is building a digital platform (Forum Spaces), the digital operating system for multi-stakeholder collaboration. Our vision is to enable initiatives to scale engagement and amplify collective impact. To support this development, we are looking for a smart, energetic, strategic and user-centric Digital Product Specialist to take responsibility for one or more functional product areas spanning multiple channels (web, mobile, email) and work with our teams of engineers, designers and engagement managers to help us bring digital products and features from conception to launch and beyond. The Digital Product Specialist will bridge the technical and business worlds, designing services to drive online engagement with our members and constituents. Exceptionally clear documentation and communication skills and the ability to thrive flexibly within a complex organization are necessary.

      Main Responsibilities

      Strategy and Discovery

      • Lead the conception and launch of innovative digital products and features, and enhance existing ones

      • Partner with business stakeholders to translate business strategy to product strategy. Be the value-creator and enabler for business.

      • Understand both internal (staff) and external (customer) needs and gather p roduct requirements

      • Engage closely with other digital product managers to ensure consistency and share best practices, and contribute to the definition and execution of Forum digital engagement strategy

      Delivery

      • Work closely with designers to deliver user-centric designs that solves business problems. Integrate various validation frameworks e.g. usability testing, stakeholder interviews, to validate and iterate designs before implementation.

      • Inspire and motivate a team of designers and engineers to deliver great proucts

      • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

      Analytics and Communication

      • Establish shared vision across the organization by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution

      • Use analytics data to define and analyse metrics that inform the success of
        products and features

      • Worth with Digital Success team to communicate effectively product value
        proposition and build product presentations/training materials for internal and
        external product communications.

      Requirements

      • Broad intellectual background with a BS/BA or Master’s degree

      • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in product management for consumer-facing digital products

      • Strong analytical thinker, deep intuition and passion for product

      • Proven ability to inspire and motivate your team of designers and engineers to deliver efficiently

      • Customer empathy and an enthusiasm for genuinely improving how businesses serve and engage people

      • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g. Mixpanel, Google Analytics)

      • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA)

      • Design experience including mock-ups and rapid prototyping

      • A solid understanding of technical infrastructure and coding practices.

      • Although no technical background is required, you should be comfortable speaking technical details with engineers.

      • Fluency in English, with excellent written, digital and verbal communication skills

      • alesforce.com experience is a plus

      • Experience with building Recommendations, Notifications services is a plus
