      How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

      The Digital Production Designer role is responsible for supporting the production and execution of digital design initiatives across Delta’s digital product ecosystem. We seek an innovative problem solver, a collaborative team player, and a skilled designer who can handle multiple projects of differing size and scope.

      Responsibilities:
      • Produce production ready designs and layouts that meet the detailed requirements for hand-off to engineers.
      • Collaborate with the product and design team on production design decisions through fast and iterative feedback loops.
      • Take on smaller product design projects from start to finish in support of the team when needed.
      • Rapidly execute design iterations based on localization of product designs.
      • Help to build guidelines and documentation for external stakeholders when needed.
      • Work closely with and across teams of engineers, product managers, and fellow designers.

      What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

      • Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital design.
      • Strong portfolio of digital design work that demonstrates a deep understanding of design principles and best practices.
      • Solid foundation in all aspects of digital design including photography, typography, layout, and design optimization.
      • Experience with design systems.
      • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and prototyping tools.
      • Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
      • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
      • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
      • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
      • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
      • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

      What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

      • Degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
      • Understanding of digital accessibility design and user experience best practices.
      • Previous retail and e-commerce design experience is highly desirable.
