      Join our Communications team as a Digital Production Specialist. The Digital Production Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of digital projects and communications efforts in support of our business objectives. As a member of the External Relations Team and key player on projects supporting all departments and teams within the organization, the Digital Production Specialist will ensure integration, execution and effectiveness across digital platforms. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this position is a digital doer, with strong technical skills that will help to ensure we meet the needs of our donor, volunteer, supporter and other stakeholder audiences through our digital presence.

      Starting Pay Range: $55,000 - $66,000 USD annually / Dependent on Qualifications and Experience.


      Work Schedule:

      • Hybrid work schedule / Full time / 40 hours per week


      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Digital Marketing Execution
        1. Execute the day-to-day of digital projects and campaigns. Producing and posting ads and assisting Digital Content Specialist to troubleshoot as needed.
        2. Posting within our social channels and alerting communication team members to messages coming through that might need attention
        3. Coordinate social channel/digital media responses and elevate as appropriate
        4. Maintain the digital assets needed for marketing strategies including vanity URLs, UTMs, etc.
      • Website Maintenance
        1. Build new landing pages and other digital items within Luminate CMS, Drupal, Squarespace, and Luminate Online and others. Implement responsive HTML/CSS techniques for mobile and tablet optimization. Troubleshoot website display and rendering issues on a variety of browsers and operating systems.
        2. Implement the plans for third party systems attached to the website in accordance with the content strategy plans for the organization.
      • Email Support
        1. Build and send emails with Luminate Online and other email delivery platforms for the External Relations and non-development teams within the organization
        2. Collaborate with development team on delivery and channel operations
        3. Stay current with best practices, strategies and industry standards related to email. Ensure email compliance and spam regulation (CAN-SPAM, CCPA) and share email program insights and recommendations with marketing business partners and associates
      • Customer Service
        1. Provide backup to digital team members as needed
        2. Provide backup support to development production specialist

      Must Have:

      • All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
      • Experience in email production, email marketing automation and deployment, specifically in working with Luminate Online (preferred), MailChimp, Constant Contact, or another email delivery platform.
      • Experience building webpages, blog posts, digital forms, and other digital content using HTML/CSS within a content management system.
      • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is welcomed and valued.
      • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Office 365, and the ability to learn other computer software programs.
      • Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and enthusiasm, both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
      • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and follow through on multiple daily tasks and projects.
      • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain database integrity.
