- Develop and maintain the Moodle learning environment and IDOE main website.
- Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by clients.
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of esthetic design principles and concepts.
- Coordinate product production with in-house staff and/or outside vendors as appropriate.
- Provide technical support for online meeting platforms. (Teams, WebEx, Zoom.Gov)
- Act as Google environment administrator (Google Drive, Google Sites, etc.).
- Maintain and triage webmaster and other support mailboxes.
- Manage user needs related to an automated online chat support system.
- Manage and administer the GovDelivery email solution.
- Process incoming and outgoing agency staff, including adding/removing from various directories.
- Maintain and update agency-wide newsletters (School Finance, School Nutrition, Special Education, Dr. Jenner’s, etc.)
- Edit Microsoft Teams recorded videos for upload and publishing to the agency’s private YouTube channel.
- Conduct general IT user permission and software licensing audits
- Self-motivated, creative mind who values collaboration and working with a diverse team.
- Experience generating flow charts, diagrams, graphs, and related illustrations for tracking, reports, and related uses.
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way, including adequate typing skills, etc.
- Attention to detail, customer service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
- Experience with online forms development and maintenance. Specifically,
- JotForm, Survey Monkey, and Google Forms.
- Moodle (or similar) Learning Management System (LMS).
- Experience with Drupal, Squiz Matrix, or other Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Experience with website editing, web analytics, blogs, web forums community management, and content generation.
- Understanding of information design, including text formatting, styles, information hierarchy, and navigation.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in emerging technologies, including office productivity, monitoring, and information security best practices.
- Ability to remain flexible, detail-oriented, and positive in response to changing deadlines/priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously and to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile work environment.

Salary:
Salary is commensurate with experience. The range begins at $59,800 per year.
Role Overview:
The Digital Systems Manager is responsible for the agency website and for various content platforms maintained by the agency, including learning management systems, survey platforms, and content management systems. You will need a solid understanding of web media and user-driven content, including web feeds, blogs, forums, podcasts, and wikis. Demonstrated experience with learning management systems, content management systems, and surveying platforms is essential. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a strong attention to detail. Formal training in web publishing applications, web design, and graphic design would be an asset. Experience or familiarity with education broadly or K-12 environments would be beneficial in this role.
